What

M3's "Done when" asked that Sweep show the noise floor and that a known signal stand out. The first half is met; no known transmitter was ever keyed in front of it. Do it with the reference node (#22).

To do

  1. Sweep running, the reference node transmitting on LongFast (869.525 MHz) at 1 m: a peak at the right frequency, about 250 kHz wide, in the bars, the peak hold and the waterfall.
  2. Note its level, and compare with the RSSI the Sniffer reports for the same packets.
  3. Move the node away until the peak sinks into the floor: that distance is a first figure for #20.
  4. Record the result in docs/milestones/M3.md, where the item is marked half met.
